Individual Therapy for Adult Women

Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, trauma, perfectionism, relationship challenges, or difficulties with food and body image begin to impact daily life. Individual therapy provides a supportive space to better understand yourself, develop coping strategies, and create meaningful change.

I work with adult women navigating:

  • Anxiety and stress

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • OCD and intrusive thoughts

  • Perfectionism and self-criticism

  • Eating disorders and body image concerns

  • Life transitions

  • Self-esteem concerns

Therapy for Children and Adolescents

Growing up comes with unique challenges, and children and teens don't always have the words to express what they're experiencing. Therapy can provide a supportive space for young people to process emotions, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen self-esteem, and navigate life's challenges.

I work with children and adolescents experiencing:

  • Anxiety and excessive worry

  • Emotional regulation difficulties

  • Trauma and stressful life experiences

  • Perfectionism and self-criticism

  • Body image concerns

  • Disordered eating and eating disorder symptoms

  • Self-harming behaviors

  • Social and peer relationship difficulties

  • Life and family transitions

  • Self-esteem concerns

Eating Disorders & Body Image

I provide support for children, adolescents, and adults struggling with their relationship with food, exercise, weight, or body image. Whether you're experiencing an eating disorder, disordered eating patterns, chronic dieting, body dissatisfaction, or feelings consumed by thoughts about food and appearance, therapy can help you move toward a more peaceful and sustainable relationship with yourself.

Support may include:

  • Anorexia

  • Bulimia

  • Binge eating

  • ARFID

  • Disordered eating behaviors

  • Chronic dieting

  • Body image concerns

  • Food guilt and anxiety around eating

  • Perfectionism related to eating and appearance

Trauma-Focused Therapy

Trauma can affect how we view ourselves, our relationships, and the world around us. Whether experiences occurred recently or years ago, healing is possible.

Trauma-focused therapy may be helpful if you experience:

  • Hyper-vigilance or feeling constantly on edge

  • Difficulty trusting others

  • Emotional numbness

  • Persistent anxiety

  • Shame or self-blame

  • Relationship difficulties

  • Intrusive memories or reminders of past experiences

Faith-Integrated Counseling

For clients who desire it, faith can be thoughtfully incorporated into the therapeutic process. Faith-integrated counseling creates space to explore emotional, relational, and spiritual concerns while honoring your beliefs and values.

Faith integration is always client-led and may include:

  • Exploring life’s challenges through a faith-based lens.

  • Addressing spiritual struggles.

  • Strengthening alignment between values and daily life.

  • Integrating faith into healing and personal growth.

  • You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Many people seek therapy because they feel overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or are struggling with challenges they don’t want to navigate alone.

  • Not everyone who struggles with food or body image meets criteria for an eating disorder, but that doesn’t mean support isn’t warranted. If thoughts about food, exercise, weight, or appearance are causing distress or interfering with daily life, therapy may be helpful.

  • Changes in mood, behavior, eating habits, sleep, school performance, or relationships can sometimes be signs that a child or teen could benefit from additional support. Therapy can provide a safe space to explore emotions, build coping skills, and navigate challenges.

  • No. Therapy moves at a pace that feels safe and manageable. Building trust, understanding your experiences, and developing coping skills are often important parts of the process.

  • That’s okay. Many people begin therapy with a general sense that something doesn’t feel right but aren’t sure how to describe it. There’s no pressure to have everything figured out before you begin.

  • I bring a warm, authentic, and relational approach to therapy. Clients often describe me as approachable and easy to talk to, while also appreciating my ability to gently challenge them when needed to support growth and meaningul change.
